- Focus on making do with how things are instead of waiting for the perfect conditions. It is better to be adaptable and pragmatic. Be able to do what you need anywhere anytime. The place to do your work, to live your good life is here

- You don’t need to keep working to pay for the things you don’t need. Financial success doesn’t mean you must live beyond your means
- No one has the power to have everything they want. But it is in their power not to want what they don’t have and to cheerfully put to good use what they have
- You can try to increase your wealth or take the shortcut and want less
- When you take offense at someone wrongdoing, consider your failings too
- No one does wrong on purpose so cut them some slack and don’t write them off. Be as forgiving of them as you are of yourself
