Emotions

  • Choose strength, courage, endurance, be in control instead of impulses and emotions such as anger and discontentment in control
  • If x happens, you don’t have to do x as an automatic reaction
  • To manage anxiety, don’t desire something out of your control
  • You are invincible when you cannot be upset by anything outside your reasoned choice
  • Justice, reason, philosophy and principles are filters to steady your impulses 
  • Choose peace not war
  • Fear is a self fulfilling prophecy 
  • Anger is a bad fuel 
  • You don’t have to have an opinion
  • Do what is honorable. Don’t be uncontrolled, overindulged, desire fuelled soul 
  • Keep guard over your perception to protect your peace of mind
  • Guard yourself from being carried away by pleasure, by connecting the temptation to its actual effect
  • Use your intelligence and reason to be wise. Think, make sure your mind, not your emotions are in charge
  • Ask if the things that upset you a product of your imagination or reaction
  • Don’t make things harder by getting emotional, creating battles
  • Enemy of happiness is expectations, yearning and conditions
  • Prepare for the storm with a plan 
  • You are invincible when you want nothing 
  • Speak when you are certain what you say is better left said
  • It is easy it to dive in and act, it is hard to stop, wait, prepare, pause, parse your thoughts and think
  • Don’t give circumstances the power to rouse anger for there is no impact
  • Your participation, reaction, belief and opinion fuel the anger, not the act. You can choose self control, not to react and don’t get carried away
  • Enjoy your brief time on earth. Don’t be enslaved to emotions that make you miserable and dissatisfied 
  • Don’t do things out of regret due to anger
  • Cultivate indifference towards troubles and emotions, be objective, calm and clear headed
  • Don’t give any possible outcome more power or preference than is appropriate 
  • You can stop and regain your composure when you lose control
  • Curb your desire. Don’t set your heart on so many things and you will get what you need
