- Face your feelings. Process and parse your feelings, remove your expectations, your entitlement, your sense of having been wrong. Find a positive in the situation but also remember that this is a part of life, that is how you can concur grief
- The default state should be one of reflection and inner awareness
- Protect your mental boundary against distractions, interruptions and time wasters
- You spend more on credit cards than money. Put real thought in every transaction
- Be brave, be dignified
- Life is long if we know how to use it. Use today. Use everyday. Make yourself satisfied with what you have been given
- The earlier you learn that you are an unfinished product, the more you can enjoy the fruit of the labour on your character. The sooner you can be free of insincerity, uncertainty, anxiety, ungraciousness and un-stoicness
- Can you live today like it is your last day. To embody completeness in your character and action, effortlessly doing the right thing
- It is dangerous to have faith in what you don’t control. But your reasoned choice is in your control and you can have confidence in
- Live with complete confidence which refers to your reasoned choice. It is the only one worth holding, trustworthy, unhindered and cannot be taken away
- Have self awareness and understand your mind and body before it is too late
- Ask: who am I, what is important to me, what do I like, what do I need
- The next time you want to compare, remember we all end up the same way in death
- What to show: insight, wisdom and real progress
- The mind must be given relaxation to improve and be sharper
- Life is long if you know how to use it
- Don’t squander it away by chasing the wrong things, by refusing to take the time to ask yourself what is actually important to you
- Don’t give up when you feel tired, frustrated or have to deal with some crisis
- In all things we should try to make ourselves we expect
- You can take a bite out of any tough situation by bringing a calm mind to it by considering it and meditating in advance
- Stop wandering about. Get busy with life‘s purpose, toss aside empty hopes, get active in your own rescue if you care for yourself at all and do it while you can
- Move forward, move onward. Another book isn’t the answer. the right choices and decisions are
In summary, three areas in which the person would be wise and good must be trained
1. Desires and aversions
2. Impulses to act and not to act. Act deliberately for good reasons and not carelessly.
3. Freedom from deception, composure, whole area of judgement and the assent our mind gives to its perceptions
Learn, practice and train. Not just merely learning.
